30-Day Supply Fee Increasing by $1
Starting January 1, 2022, the price for a 30-day supply of OTCs will increase from $2.99 to $3.99 per medication plus any applicable state sales tax due to inflation and rising expenses related to logistics and delivery.
This $3.99 charge remains a flat fee, meaning, you will continue to pay $3.99 for each 30-day supply of an OTC medication no matter how many doses they take a day. Plus, you’ll also continue to receive the other benefits of our OTC Preferred Formulary program, including:
- Cross-checks of all OTCs by pharmacists for potential allergies or harmful interactions
- Specialized packaging for individual dosage to reduce administration errors
- 106 OTC medications to choose from, representing 95% of all OTC orders dispensed in 2021 by PharMerica
- The convenience of receiving all prescriptions and OTCs from the same pharmacy
